It’s the legendary Neil Diamond’s 77th birthday! And I thought it would be particularly appropriate to feature Neil on Wayback Wednesday, because he just announced this week that he has Parkinson’s Disease and will no longer be able to perform live. All of us at WMTR wish good health and all the best to a man who’s given us so many great songs and outstanding performances over a more than 50 year career.
Congratulations as well, since Neil Diamond will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement award at the Grammys this weekend! Richly deserved. Now enjoy the song that always has audiences singing along and rocking in the aisles…Sweet Caroline, in a performance from 2008!
