Wayback Wednesday: Happy Days
January 15, 1974 saw the debut of Happy Days on ABC-TV. The comedy, set in the 1950’s and early ‘60’s, ran until September of 1984, with 255 episodes spanning 11 seasons. We were re-introduced to Ron Howard, who’d been Opie on the Andy Griffith Show, as Richie Cunningham.. And the breakout star of the show was Henry Winkler, who played Arthur Fonzarelli…”Fonzie”.
