Wayback Wednesday: Summer Rain
On Wayback Wednesday, another great Summer song this week. Although actually Summer Rain by Johnny Rivers was a hit in the Winter…around Christmastime of 1967! Nonetheless, it certainly brings back Summer, in a great love song. This performance is by Johnny on Country star Marty Stuart’s TV show in 2013. By the way, on You Tube there are a number of live performances of this song by Johnny over the years…from 1973 to 2017…and they’re all great. It’s a mystery why this man isn’t in the Rock N’ Roll Hall Of Fame. But kick back and enjoy Summer Rain!
