Rutgers will host its spring football game on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. from SHI Stadium. The annual Scarlet-White game will feature the 2023 squad in its final scrimmage before breaking camp for a couple of months until training camp begins for real in late July.

The quarterback position will be one to watch as Gavin Wismatt and Evan Simon return after splitting starting snaps last season. Will it continue in 2023, or will Coach Greg Schiano pick a starter? Tomorrow's game could go a long way in helping him make that decision.

Special teams will also be an area fans can watch for as Flynn Appleby takes over punting duties from Adam Korsak who is an NFL prospect.

Fans are encouraged to arrive at SHI Stadium early.

Festivities will start at 10 a.m. with Rutgers Day.

At 2 p.m. Gates will open and Fanfest will begin at SHI Stadium.

At 2:15 there will be a number of former Scarlet Knights with NFL experience on hand to sign autographs. Kenny Britt, Brian Leonard, and Super Bowl Champion Michael Burton are expected to be on hand.

3 p.m. kick-off; celebrity punt contest at halftime; followed by post-game autographs.

Parking and admission will be free.
