The One Problem with Jon Bon Jovi’s New Wine Brand
We all know musicians like to diversify their brand and branch off into different ventures, and alcohol/alcohol-related ones are a very logical step.
Enter Jon Bon Jovi.
JBJ and his son, Jesse, are releasing their own brand of rosé wine called Diving into Hampton Water, which apparently is a nod to how often that type of wine flows when the family is at their home in the Hamptons. JBJ even told The New York Times, “It’s a favorite in our household because you can drink it starting with lunch and into the evening, and we enjoy lots of it whenever we travel.”
While we certainly have no problem with a little day drinking or a nice father/son collaboration, there seems to be a major missed opportunity when it comes to the wine brand’s name…
…BECAUSE IT SHOULD’VE BEEN CALLED BED OF ROSÉ!
Talk about a missed opportunity!
Of course, this won’t stop us from picking up a bottle when it launches this spring, because who are we kidding? At $25/bottle, we’ll probably even stock up on it.
