ICYMI: Seger Postponed Columbus Gig
Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band were forced to postpone their Saturday night (September 30) concert in Columbus, Ohio, due to a pinched vertebra in Seger’s neck.
Seger had performed on Thursday (September 28) in Pittsburgh. Officials at Nationwide Arena said the Columbus show, part of Seger’s Runaway Train Tour, will be rescheduled, with tickets for Saturday’s show honored on the new date.
The Runaway Train Tour’s next date is Thursday (October 5) in Greenville, S.C., and is slated to wrap up November 17 in Chicago — the same day Seger releases his new album, I Knew You When.
Seger revealed last week that the album will be dedicated to the late Eagles’ co-founder Glenn Frey, one of his good friends.
Seger has released the first single, a version of Lou Reed‘s “Busload Of Faith,” from the album.
