Vinnie Vincent Slated To Appear At Atlanta KISS Expo
KISS fans will have a chance to celebrate Vinnie Vincent next year.
The group’s second guitarist, who replaced Ace Frehley from 1982-84, has agreed to make a rare public appearance at the upcoming Atlanta KISS Expo, taking place January 19-20. The Expo is planning to host a Q&A with Vincent, as well as autograph and photo opportunities for different ticket levels ranging from $45 to $289. The Expo will be posting a “special message” from Vincent on September 1 at its official web site and social media platforms.
Vincent has attended other KISS expos in the past but it’s been years since the last one. After his tenure in KISS from 1982-84, the Ankh-faced Vincent formed the Invasion and has also recorded with John Waite, the Bangles and Wendy O. Williams.
KISS My Ankh: A Tribute To Vinnie Vincent was released during August of 2008. His own last recording, the “Euphoria” EP with the Invasion, came out during 1996. Vincent has also had widely documented financial and legal problems over the years.
