Time to hang ‘em up.
Todd Frazier has officially announced his retirement from Major League Baseball.
The New Jersey native and professional baseball third baseman played for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, New York Mets, and Pittsburgh Pirates throughout his career.
“As I make my retirement official, another thank you again to everybody. Thank you to all of the fans that inspired me to be the best I could be. I hope that you saw me as a Jersey boy who gave it his all and made whatever team I played for proud,” Frazier shared on Instagram. “While my playing days are over, I know that baseball will forever be part of my life and my future.”
“The Toddfather” says he still doesn’t know how his tremendous teammates and coaches put up with his “Jersey-style loud talking and dancing every day” since he was drafted in 2007.
