Applebee’s To Sell $200 ‘Date Night Pass’
When Olive Garden announced they were selling a Never Ending Pasta Pass, people lost their minds. When they announced a Lifetime Pasta Pass, they were scooped really quickly. People certainly like their chain restaurant deals. Enter Applebee’s, who now has a pass of their own.
Introducing the Applebee’s Date Night Pass
Beginning Monday, January 22 at 9am Pacific, the Applebee’s website will start selling a $200 pass that will be good for a date night at the establishment every week for an entire year! Passes will be limited and will probably sell out in moments.
Of course, there’s a bit of math involved. What the pass actually gets you is a $30 credit at the “fine” dining establishment every week for a year, starting February 1. One visit, use it or lose it, every week.
What it doesn’t include is booze. You’ll also need to pay your own taxes. And yes, you should still tip your servers: the tip is not included in this deal.
Single? Who cares.
Whether you have a date or not, it appears as though the $30 isn’t contingent on you having a committed relationship, or anyone at all. So you can get yourself a really nice meal, or bring the kiddo out for dinner. It’s actually a pretty great offer if you like Applebee’s and can scoop one up.
If you do the math, and use the pass every week, you’ll get $1,560 worth of value out of this illustrious pass. Applebee’s has a pretty decent kids menu and some nice entrees, so if you’re looking to crush your financial independence goals and still get that treat to eat out once a week, this is a no-brainer.
We’ll be setting up our calendar alert and battling you for it, so may the best bargain hunter win and dine like a King or Queen.
