Disney+ Is Doing a ‘Hocus Pocus’ Sequel
Disney + is bringing even more value to it’s streaming service with the addition of a Hocus Locus sequel. Per Variety, writer and producer Jen D’Angelo, who previously worked on Workaholics, is in charge of the script.
The original Hocus Pocus came out in 1993 and starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Better Midler. Through the years, it has become a cult classic. There is no word yet on if the trio will be part of sequel, but according to Variety, Disney is hopeful they will become involved.
There is also no details on the plot, cast, or what direction the sequel will go in.
Disney+ officially launches on November 11.
