40.7 million household accounts have been watching the show since its July 4 global launch — more than any other film or series in its first four days. And 18.2 million have already finished the entire season.
Netflix typically keeps their streaming statistics very close to the vest, but this is obviously very good news for the streaming platform and the Stranger Things series itself. It’s also eye-opening to see just how many households opted to spend the holiday weekend indoors instead of outside. Oh well, the sun’s overrated anyway!
