Welcome to winter! Check out these 7 Must Haves For Your Winter Activities to help you ease through the season, whether you’re trying to keep warm or have a little snow day fun.

I grew up in New England, Rhode Island to be specific, so I’ve endured many frosty winters. As I get older, I like the cold less and less but when I was a kid there was nothing better in life to me than sledding. My dad would take me to our favorite hill on the other side of town, local golf courses and even the beach. Anywhere I could pick up a little speed. I mean, I really loved sledding. This list does, of course, include a few items to get you down an incline rapidly, but also some to keep you warm and some other fun winter activities.

I tried to stick to easy items you can keep on hand for when the forecast calls for when the thermometer dips below 32. There are literally days I want to cry because I hate the cold so much (I wish this was an exaggeration) but I love being outside, so I endure the layers and goggles and boots. A couple of the pieces on this Must Have list will help with keeping you (and me) cozy even in the coldest of temperatures. And some of the other things will make getting all bundled up a little more fun while you’re out there.

  • Fluffy Cold Weather Balaclava

If you’ve read any of the other Must Have lists I’ve written you know there’s always (at least) one product I buy before the article even gets published. So why not put it as my number 1. There are a lot of things I’m required to do outside, and this soft fleece balaclava will make them a little less painful. Plus, it’s affordable and available in multiple colors so why not grab more than one.
