– 6:45 pm Santa arrives to light the tree followed by pictures with Santa in our transformed Winter Wonderland by Lounge It Up Decor.

This event is FREE to the community.  The tree is located on the South East lawn at the Cedar Knolls Fire Department facing Ridgedale Avenue. “The countdown to the lighting of the tree is something we look forward to each year.  This year is especially special as we celebrate 100 years of volunteer service. As we welcome the community to our event we ask for everyone to remember that the holidays are a time for peace, love and hope.” said Committee Chairman Craig W. Vagell Jr. The tree will be lit from November 30, 2019 to January 5, 2020.  Parking is available on local side streets. Mountain Avenue will be closed at Ridgedale Avenue & Cedar Road beginning at 4:00pm on November 30, 2019. “The tree has over 5,000 energy efficient LED color bulbs and LED strobe lights that are hung by our volunteers and takes over 48 manpower hours to prepare.” Vagell also said.
