Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer: Every End Has A Beginning
As the new Stranger Things 4 trailer opens, a voice says, “You’ve broken everything. Your suffering is almost… at an end.” For a split second, we get a glimpse of a dark creature opening its eyes. The next scene shows Max visiting her dead brother Billy’s gravestone. She says, “Dear Billy, I don’t even know if you can hear this. Ever since you left, everything’s been a total disaster. For a while, we tried to be happy. Normal. I know that’s impossible.”
Cue a slowed-down remix of Journey’s 1983 classic “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” as we get glimpses of Sheriff Jim Hopper in Russia and a roller rink. Another voice is heard saying, “I’ve relocated you guys far from Hawkins because I thought you’d be safe. A war is coming. I’m afraid your friends at Hawkins are very much in the eye of the storm.” The Stranger Things cast are kids no more, as puberty hits and everyone is taller, their voices deeper.
Eleven drops a bomb when she reveals she no doesn’t have her powers anymore, to which a man responds, “I don’t know how to say this other than just to say it: without you, we can’t win this war.”
