David Harbour On Being In The ‘Daddy-Verse’ With Pedro Pascal
There’s room on the internet for more than one daddy — and David Harbour has joined the ranks with Pedro Pascal. In a new interview with ET, the 48-year-old actor said, “We occupy a certain realm of the daddy-verse. I know him very well actually.”
Both men were blessed with the internet status due to their respective roles on Stranger Things and The Last of Us. Harbour solidified his position as daddy when his and Lily Allen’s Brooklyn home was featured on AD. Pascal, also 48, made the internet go wild with his coffee order. He embraced the term back in January in a joint interview with Bella Ramsey. At the start of the video, the actress mocked him and said, “You’re daddy. Daddy’s a state of mind.” He said of being a “zaddy” because he’s older, “I’ll take it. I’m not offended.”
Fans will soon be able to get their next dose of “Daddy” Harbour when he returns for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The show will begin filming this June, and Harbour has admitted he’s ready to move on. “I think we’re ready,” he told ET. “I mean, it’s bittersweet of course, because it changed all of our lives, and also, I’m such a fan of the show. Always have been and continue to be. And I think those guys — the Duffer Brothers — are real geniuses.”
He continued, “But just because it’s the end of Stranger Things, doesn’t mean it’s the end of them creatively. And I feel like they’ll go on and create other things that are gorgeous and that we’ll fall in love with as much as Stranger Things. So, it is the end of one thing, but the beginning of possibly a new chapter that’s just as beautiful.”
