Nike To Close Stores And Step Up Four Hourly Employees Amid Coronavirus
Sneakerheads are no exception to Coronavirus; shoe retailer Nike is closing all of its North American locations beginning Monday until March 27th to help curb the Coronavirus outbreak.
Nike has 384 stores in the United States alone and the health of athletes around the world is their top priority at this time.
Nike shops in Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe will close, too. The company will keep its locations in Japan, South Korea and China open on a day-to-day basis based on the latest assessments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nike will also step up and fully pay their hourly employees during closing.
