Jason Momoa Goes Fishing In Nothing But A Loin Cloth With Exposed Buttocks

Jason Momoa may have wanted to show off his fishing skills, but fans noticed the real catch of the day: his bare behind.

Posting to Instagram about a recent boat excursion, the See star wrote, "rainbows in my @mananalu.water sunday funday. amazing time with da ohana. big mahalo to captain hopper and J for helping us catch some aku. dried aku all week. cheeehuuu."

The first image shows Momoa holding his water brand, Mananalu, with a rainbow going directly into the bottle. Over the next few slides, the actor shared some wholesome snaps with his friends. Once we hit the sixth slide, we notice Momoa made quite the outfit change, wearing nothing but a loin cloth while holding the fish next to his buddy. Things only get better from here, with the next slide being a video of the actor in action reeling in the big Aku fish in with a full view of his bare backside.

One fan commented, "It’s the outfit for me" with a crying laughing emoji. Another fan said, "Big Mahalo for that loin cloth flapping in the wind!" Another said, "Jason what in that thong thong thong song is going on here" with a bunch of laughing emojis. "Can we talk about what you are wearing cause I can’t think of anything else," wrote another fan with three heart emojis. Sons of Anarchy actor Timothy V. Murphy commented on Momoa's post, "Love it…I thought Aquaman loved fish" with laughing emojis.

Earlier this week, the Aquaman actor posted a series of photos in full "Father Time" costume alongside Lebron James and Nas. The very first image shows a confused Lebron as Momoa belts it out while holding a microphone. A giant neon Karaoke sign hangs in the background. "Can't wait for you all to see what I was up to with @kingiames and the rest of the #JamesGangwy." Many fans noticed Momoa's noticeable height difference from the basketball star (Momoa is 6'4" while James is 6'9"). "First time i saw jason momoa look small hahaha," wrote one fan, while another said, "Weird to see you looking up."

Jason Momoa has always been a sex symbol since his emergence in Hollywood. The Hawaiian native got his first big break at 20 years old as Jason Ioane on Baywatch: Hawaii (1999–2001), being much less buff, had no facial hair and rocked a short haircut.

In the next few years, he journeyed to the sci-fi realm portraying Ronon Dex on the Syfy series Stargate Atlantis (2005–2009). In this series, Momoa rocks a longer dreaded hairdo and dons a goatee with a beefier frame.

If you hadn't been following the actor's career yet, you sure did once you got a glimpse of him as Khal Drogo in the first two seasons of Game of Thrones (2011–2012). As the warrior and loyal husband of Daenerys Targaryan, Momoa gained quite the fandom in his portrayal of the Dothraki chieftain. His most recent TV acting roles include his leading roles as Declan Harp on the historical drama series Frontier (2016–2018), and as the beloved Baba Voss on Apple TV+'s See (2019–2022).

As popular as his role as Khal Drogo was, Momoa is also commonly called upon by his DC character, Aquaman. He has played the role of Arthur Curry since the eponymous 2018 film and in its upcoming 2023 sequel. As we earlier reported, Momoa spilled the beans that Ben Affleck's Batman will be appearing in the sequel. He's also starred in the 2021 sci-fi flick Dune alongside an all-star cast consisting of Timothée Chamalet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin.

Momoa shares two kids, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, 13, and Lola Iolani, 15, with his ex-wife, actress Lisa Bonet. The two began dating in 2005 after Momoa called off his engagement to Baywatch actress Simmone Jade Mackinnon. Momoa and Bonet married twelve years later in 2017 but announced their split in January 2022.
