Matthew Perry released some Friends-themed merchandise Monday ahead of this week’s HBO Max reunion special, but some fans are unamused by what is written across his shirt.

The 51-year-old actor is modeling a black T-shirt displaying a Chandler-emphatic question: “Could I be any more vaccinated?”

After he posted the image to Twitter and Instagram, fans called him out for callously linking the reunion with vaccinations during the coronavirus pandemic, which has recorded more than 167 million cases and topped 3.4 million deaths worldwide, the New York Post reports.

One person on Twitter used his phrase right back at Perry to show their distaste:

Perry posted the same photo on his Instagram, receiving some hate on the shirt there as well with one user commenting, "i love you but this tshirt is not it haha."

Another freaked out saying, "MY EYES! MY EYES! I was hoping you wouldn’t post something like this."

One Instagrammer wrote, "Like why would you have to display your medical status on a t-shirt? Like a dog in a shelter 🥴🥴🥴"

One quipped, "Jesus. Just propaganda machines for life huh? That’s all celebs are anymore."

Another user called out Perry for using his fame writing, "Making money off of a vaccine that's killing people. How celebrity of you."

Adding to that, one user called Perry a "F---ing sell out 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤡"

If you are a fan of the limited-edition shirt, it sells for $26.99 at Perry's Represent.com store. The description reads: “Now back out into the world!!….or stay in and binge-watch Friends again! :)” Adding, "We're not excited at all..... *sarcasm*."

Last week, Perry debuted the merch, which includes sweaters, shirts, baby onesies and dog bandanas.

Friends: The Reunion special will premiere Thursday, May 27, on HBO Max featuring “our favorite friends [who] are back on the set that started it all. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and special guests reunite to discuss everything from their casting process to whether or not Ross and Rachel were really on a break. Witness the unbreakable bond of the group that perfectly captured the moment in life when your friends become your family.”
