Please visit websiteJust a little over a month after Hurricane Sandy, the state of New Jersey is slowly moving into the clean-up and recovery process. The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Disaster Assistance is offering a loan program that will help small business, residents and private, non-profit organizations. They ask that applications for physical damage be filed no later than December 31, 2012 and the deadline for applications for economic injury is July 13, 2013. If you are in need of assistance after the devastating hurricane, there are three separate ways to apply. The first way can be done in person at any Disaster Recovery Center or Business Recovery Center; you can call 800-659-2955 for your nearest location. You can also apply online at the SBA’s secure website, https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela or apply by mailing in an application to the SBA at 14925 Kingsport Road., Fort Worth, TX 76155-2243.
