The Library of the Chathams, 214 Main Street, ChathamThe Sierra Club Loantaka Group and the Library of Chatham have teamed up to bring the community a seminar about reducing the use of coal in society and promoting the use of cleaner energy. The seminar will be led by Christine Guhl, a Sierra Club Field Organizer for Beyond Coal Campaign as she breaks down two short films, ‘Coal Country’ and ‘Unlimited’. ‘Coal Country’ will go into detail about a small West Virginia town in a civil war about the impact coal has on the community. While ‘Unlimited’ touches on renewable and cleaner energy sources. The seminar will take place on January 11th at the Library of the Chathams located on 214 Main Street in Chatham and is free and open to the public.
