Spooktacular Fun Fest

Well it’s that time of the year again.  October is fast approaching so that means the Annual Spooktacular Fun Fest will be taking place again, this year at The Morris County Vocational School, 400 East Main Street in Denville on Saturday,  October 22nd.  The Spooktacular is a fund raising event for The Community Children’s Museum and features many fun and exciting activities throughout the day. If you were snubbed last year in the annual cake decorating competition be sure to bring your A-game this year, and take home the top prize to your friends and family.  The cake decorating competition is open to the general public of all ages and features judges from the area’s premier bake shops.  Entry fee is 10 dollars per cake and includes 2 free tickets.  Other fun throughout the day includes live music by Big Jeff, face painting and other activities with Tweedles The Clown as well as Monster Mash Dance, story time, and plenty of carnival games with prizes.  Be sure to dress up in your favorite costume too as artists and teachers will be handing out prizes all afternoon for creative and costumes.  The fun will take place from 12:30 to 4 in the afternoon on Saturday, October 22nd at The Morris County Vocational school.  Admission is 10 dollars for non-museum members, 8 dollars for members and children.
