Saint Clare’s Health is offering a seminar entitled “Innovations in Weight Loss” on Thursday, March 21, at 7 pm at its Denville Hospital in the Urban Auditorium, 25 Pocono Road, Denville, New Jersey 07834. Dr. Jawed will discuss the modern advances now available in weight loss strategies. He is regarded as an expert in his field with a unique understanding of the problems involved in being overweight and a solid solution to it.
Dr. Jawed is a general surgeon, board certified by the American Board of Surgery specializing in laparoscopic, bariatric, and robotic surgery. Dr. Jawed is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is also certified by da Vinci® Surgical as a robotic surgeon.
After successful completion of his general surgery training at Morristown Medical Center he received the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He completed an additional year of minimally invasive bariatric and robotic surgical training as a Fellow at the Innovation Health in northern Virginia and a Bariatric Center of Excellence.
