Rockaway, NJ – Scrap metal recyclers in the Tri-State area are invited to attend a Customer BBQ Event on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 7am-12:00pm at Rockaway Recycling benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Rockaway Recycling invites local business owners to bring in their scrap material to be recycled and while Rockaway Recycling will donate their earnings to helping and improving the environment all at once.
Breakfast sandwiches and burgers/hotdogs will be served throughout the day from 7am-12:00pm, along with hot coffee, soda, and water. Any left over food will be donated to Market Street Mission located in Morristown. In July 2011, Rockaway Recycling held a similar charity event and had great success donating over $1,100 to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and over 500 pounds of food to the Market Street Mission to feed people on the 4th of July.
