We hope to attract more than 2,000 visitors from our region and beyond, as the goal of this family-friendly event is to raise money to support children with brain cancer in New Jersey and across the country through the Little by Little Foundation. Every dollar raised directly benefits families in need.
After a long, hard fight, Toms River resident Kim Maguire became brain cancer’s victim in 2017. When she passed away less than two years after being diagnosed with glioblastoma (GBM), her husband Mike needed to do something meaningful in her memory. That is when the Little by Little Foundation was born. Through the Little by Little Foundation, Kim Maguire’s giving spirit is kept alive by helping individual families in financial hardship due to childhood brain cancer treatment. In less than two years, more than $125,000 has been distributed directly to families in need.
