Morris County’s history dates back all the way back to the birth of our amazing nation and Bob Meyers of the Morris Area Genealogy Society wants to help you find your ancestor who may have fought in the Revolutionary War. His seminar will be held at the Morris County Library located at 30 East Hanover Ave in Whippany on March 3rd at 7pm. Bob will give you the tools necessary to find a family member who served in the war, he’ll help show you the easiest way to sort through state and local records and then help you follow your family member through their journey to freedom. You can check out www.revolutionarydetective.com for more. You can also check out M.A.G.S website at www.rootsweb.ancestry.com or call the library at 973-285-6930 if inclement weather makes the seminar questionable.
