National Night Out -Livingston

Join The Cool Kids at the Memorial Oval, 360 South Livingston Ave in Livingston for National Night Out! The Livingston Police Department will hold the community’s third National Night Out on Tuesday, August 2, at the Memorial Oval. The annual event begins at 5:30 p.m. and will offer participants free food and soft drinks.

The movie that will be shown this year, as selected by Livingston’s children, is Toy Story 3. It will be on the big screen beginning at approximately 8:45 p.m. Other scheduled attractions will include the opening ceremony at 5:30 p.m., line dancing demonstration at 6 p.m., helicopter landings by the Atlantic Health Care Air One and New Jersey State Police NorthSTAR helicopters at 6:15 p.m. and a performance by the Second Time Around band at 6:45 p.m. The Livingston Fire Department will demonstrate an extrication at 7 p.m.; a drawing will be held at 8:15 p.m. and a demonstration of Sonny Croughn’s trike, “D.A.R.E. 2B Bad,” will be held at 8:30 p.m.
