Clifton Community Rec Center, 1232 Main Avenue, CliftonIf you’ve ever sat around your house in your World War 1 issued uniform and spent your days wishing your new car was an old jalopy, don’t make plans for Saturday, November the 5th. The Morris County Historical Society is hosting a 1918 style Armistice Ball, and you’re invited! Head out to the Clifton Community Rec Center between 7 and 10 PM with your friends and family and do the Charleston to lively early 20s dance tunes provided by The Met Club orchestra. For those who are a little rusty with their moves, a workshop on early 20th century dances will be held at the rec center between 2 and 4 PM in the afternoon. Tickets for the workshop and the dance are 30 dollars in advance, and 35 dollars at the door, and are available.
