25 George Street, MorristownThe Market Street Mission thrift store located at 25 George Street in Morristown was knocked out of operation after being flooded by Hurricane Irene. All merchandise was destroyed when the first floor was filled with mud and water during the storm. The Mission store expects to be closed for approximately 3 weeks and the loss of merchandise and lack of sales during that time is estimated to cost the Mission $50,000 dollars. They are hoping to start sending their trucks around for pickup in approximately a week and hope to once again have clothing, furniture, cars and bric-a-brac for sale soon. Thank you for all your support. For more information about Market Street Mission check out their website at www.marketstreet.org or call Rosita at 973-993-2871 to find out how you can help further.
