Historical Society of Bloomfield to hold 3rd Annual Ice Cream Social

Bloomfield, NJ, June 2018: The Historical Society of Bloomfield, NJ (HSOB) will be holding its third annual Ice Cream Social on June 9, 2018. There will be free ice cream for all adults and children who visit the HSOB Museum at 90 Broad Street (located on the third floor of the Children’s Library) between the hours of 11:00am and 2:00pm.

The event is open to the public and free of charge, so bring a friend! Parking is on Broad Street and in the Library Parking Lot on State Street.

The HSOB is an outgrowth of the Sesquicentennial Celebration of 1962 and was incorporated in 1966. The HSOB Museum is dedicated to the culture, people and history of Bloomfield. The collection consists of furniture, clothing & accessories, tools, household articles, paintings, toys, posters, memorabilia, dioramas, maps, newspapers, postcards, letters, deeds, documents, books and much more.
