Mahwah Public Library, 100 Ridge Road, Mahwah“Living Latin Music” will rake an historic look at salsa and tango, their evolution as a musical genres and rise as popular contemporary dances. Join Professor Negron on Wednesday October 10 at 7:00 PM as she takes you on a musical journey. Edna Negro n is a professor of journalism at Ramapo College . She is a veteran journalist with more than 25 years having worked as a reporter and editor in North Jersey, New York and South Florida publications. She researches and writes about issues affecting the growth Latino population. “Living Latin Music” is free! No registration is necessary. Seats are on a “first come” basis.
