The terrible fire that destroyed the James Monroe Elementary School in Edison has left New Jersey children without proper classrooms to explore the world and has left New Jersey teachers without proper supplies to help those children reach their full potential and goals.  They are currently holding class at Middlesex County College temporarily.  That is why they are asking for our help.  Saturday, March 29th, there will be a Stuff The Bus event at the Target in South Plainfield located at 5000 Hadley Center from Noon through 5PM where you can purchase and donate supplies.  Book donations are being accepted at Work Out World in the Menlo Park Mall through April 2nd. Monetary donations can be made at www.edisoncares.com and those donations will go directly towards the needs of the James Monroe Elementary School.  If you would like more information about how and where to donate contact Virginia Pattie, one of James Monroe’s teachers at Virginia.pattie@edison.k12.nj.us  or you can contact the Edison Board of Education at 732-452-4900.
