Gesneriads in the Cosmos

The Frelinghuysen Arboretum Gesneriad Society will present its annual plant show and sale, “A Celebration of Gesneriads” on Sunday, October 7th from 11am to 3pm at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, 55 East Hanover Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960. Admission is FREE! The facility is handicapped accessible. The show will include horticultural exhibits, creative flower arrangements, planted gardens and more, using gesneriads, the colorful and exotic tropical cousins of the African Violet. Learn how to grow beautiful gesneriads in your own home by viewing educational displays presented by local growers! A sale table will feature blooming, unusual, and rare varieties of gesneriads, including African Violets.

Join us at 1130am and 1pm for a guided tour of the show with a questions and answer session.
