Fungus Fest 2011

Are there mysterious mushrooms growing on your lawn that haven’t been there before? Are they safe to eat? The New Jersey Mycological Association will answer all these questions and more at FUNGUS FEST 2011. Fungus Fest 2011 includes exhibits of mushrooms, edible and poisonous mushroom identification, as well as mushroom art and photography. In addition to those activities, mushroom books, field guides, and mushroom arts and crafts will be available for purchase. Fungus Fest 2011 is free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for those under 16. Fungus Fest 2011 is on Sunday September 25^th at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown, NJ from 10:00 Am to 4:00 Pm. The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is located at 53 East Hanover Avenue in Morristown, NJ. Information and directions are available www.njmyco.org.
