Exploring Morris County

The Landmark Commission will take you on a 300 year journey into the past of Morris County on November 22 at the Whippanong Library at 8:30am.  Located on 15 North Jefferson Road in Whippany.  You’ll learn about the Whippany Iron Forge, the importance of canals and railroads in Morris County along with the impact of modern communication, television, and Picatinny Aresenal right here in Morris County.  Seats are limited and you must register in advance, admission is free.  For more information call 973-428-2460.
