Communication with Children

The Rockaway Township Division of Health and the Municipal Alliance Committee of the Rockaways present 15 MINUTE CHILD BREAK. Even today, parents and grandparents are STILL the strongest influence in their children’s lives!

This is a free multi-media presentation that informs, encourages, and empowers parents, grandparents, educators, coaches and any adult caregiver regarding effective communication with children about the misuse and abuse of alcohol and other drugs.

Topics include:
Underage drinking, vaping and marijuana use, abuse of prescription and OTC medications, influence of media and pop culture, identifying risks and protective factors, parenting and communication skills, and utilizing teachable moments.
