Chamber Music Event

It is an exciting season for music lovers as they celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Mahwah Public Library on Sunday October 14. For many years the library has presented concerts of great variety and quality and has built a devoted audience. The upcoming season promises more wonderful performances with a center piece- a mini series of three chamber music recitals. Chamber music has always had a special connection with music lovers as they express great musical ideas in an atmosphere of intimacy. Each concert of the series will be dedicated to particular combinations of instruments such as a violin duo with piano, violin trio, cello and piano, and a quartet with a piano quintet. The program is free and no registration is necessary. Seats are on a “first come” basis.
