Hoping for a wish to come true? Come join Unity by the Shore and put your wishes and your prayers on wings as we release our butterflies to world! Neptune, NJ Unity by the Shore will hold their 6th Annual Butterfly Release on September 15th. The location is Sunset Park on 5th Avenue (Grand Ave and Emory Street) in Asbury Park, and the release is at 3pm. The event is free with a $15 purchase fee to release your own butterfly. There is an Indian Legend that says: “If anyone desires a wish to come true they must first capture a butterfly and whisper a wish to it. Since the butterfly cannot make a sound, it cannot reveal the wish to anyone but the Great Spirit who hears and sees all. In gratitude for giving the butterfly its freedom the Great Spirit always grants the wish.” Whisper your wish to a butterfly as it takes flight!
