Benefit Blood Drive to Honor Anthony Mazzella

On January 30th, the Peter Muschal Elementary School PTA along with the Community Blood Council of New Jersey will be hosting a blood drive!  This is a Benefit Blood Drive to honor Anthony Mazzella a survivor of severe Aplastic Anemia, a rare life- threatening blood disorder.  This condition affects approximately 600- 900 people a year, with only one known cure a bone marrow transplant.  The Blood Drive will be held at Bordentown Regional High School located at 318 Ward Ave, Bordentown in the Auxiliary gym to help those in need like Anthony.  Due to generous donations Anthony’s life has begun to return to normal with him being able to return to school in September of 2013.  To schedule your appointment call the Community Blood Council of New Jersey at (609) 883-9750 ext. 145 or log on to www.GivebloodNJ.org.   Please eat within 4 hours of donating, and bring a photo I.D.
