An Ordinary Man

Join the Morris Area Genealogy Society (MAGS) as they invite the public for a free presentation of, An Ordinary Man: Hunting for your not-so-rich-and-famous Ancestor on Tuesday February 4, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the large public meeting room at the Morris County Library located at 30 East Hanover Avenue in Whippany, New Jersey.  Cheryl Turkington of the North Jersey History and Genealogy Center will discuss utilizing local records to do an in-depth search on one individual, starting with a photograph.  Come before the presentation at 6:30 PM for refreshments and to look through the discarded genealogy materials that are free to new owners.  For more information can be found on the MAGS website at www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~njmags/.
