Mac & Cheese Mayhem
- What: A celebration of everyone's favorite comfort food

- Cost: $10 at the door, $7 prepurchased online, with children 3 years and under free
Mac & Cheese Mayhem is an indoor food festival celebrating everyone's favorite comfort dish. Local chefs and restaurants will serve creative variations of mac & cheese for attendees to taste and vote on for the "Mac Daddy Award." The event includes music, craft beer, vendors, and kids' activities.
Maple Sugaring at Environmental Education Center
- What: Traditional maple sugaring demonstrations and tours
- When: Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at noon and 2 p.m.
- Where: Somerset County Park Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge
- Cost: Adults $7, seniors and students $6
Visitors to the maple sugaring program can experience the traditional Northeast maple sugaring process firsthand. At the Sugar Shack, you can learn how they tap maple trees, observe historic and modern sap-collecting methods, and watch sap boil down into New Jersey maple syrup. You can buy tickets for this 60-minute outdoor program on a walk-in basis on the day, and the organizers recommend appropriate outdoor clothing and boots for muddy or snowy trails.
