5 Must-See NFL Games in Week 8
NFL Week 8 is here. The fun kicks off with Thursday Night Football (Oct. 26), with Tampa Bay at Buffalo. Here are five must-see NFL games to watch in Week 8.
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders
People are going to want to watch this game to make sure Jalen Hurts isn’t injured. The Eagles quarterback is dealing with a knee injury, but he thankfully wasn’t on the Eagles’ latest injury report and is expected to play this game. The Eagles had some great stats in Week 7, and this game against the Commanders is expected to be something of a blowout, but you never know.
Las Vegas Raiders at Detroit Lions
Talk about a turn of momentum. Last week was horrible for the Detroit Lions. The Ravens had 28 points on the board before Detroit even had a first down. But, that game doesn’t take away from the great things the Lions have been able to accomplish this year. They still have a solid quarterback in Jared Goff. They even beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1. The Lions welcoming the Raiders to Ford Field for Monday Night Football, and it should be a good watch. It’s certainly one of the must-see NFL games in Week 8.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Buffalo Bills
Going into this season, the Buffalo Bills were one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL. They’re still good, but their defense has been letting them down. This weekend’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should give more insight into how the Bills are looking this season. No word yet on if defensive tackle Ed Oliver will play this game, but if he does, that will sure help.
New York Jets at New York Giants
Whenever the New York Jets and New York Giants play, it’s also a must-see game. These teams seem pretty even to me, so it’s anybody’s guess who will pull off a win. If I had to go with one, I would pick the Giants, but the Jets have been surprising us (and the Eagles), so it’s anyone’s game.
New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are one of the strongest teams in the league. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots have been struggling. But, the Patriots did win against the Bills last weekend, which was impressive. This game could be closer than many predict, and that makes it a good watch.
