You may no longer need to leave your car for a matcha latte. Starbucks is looking to open up a new drive-thru in New Jersey this summer.

According to NJ Advance Media, the coffee chain is set to open at 188 Route 9 in Marlboro’s Marlboro Plaza. The Starbucks is expected to open sometime in July but an exact date has yet to be announced.

The Starbucks will join Hobby Lobby, Kohl’s, McDonald’s, Staples, T.J. Maxx, Bank of America, and Chase Bank.

There is another Starbucks located less than a mile away from the one that is set to open in Marlboro Plaza. That Starbucks is located on the other side of Route 9 but does not have a drive-thru as this one will.

The new Starbucks will be located between McDonald's and the Bank Of America. It will have its own standalone building in the shopping plaza.

Back in May, Starbucks announced another drive-thru in the Whiting Commons shopping center per Asbury Park News. The shopping center is set to have a Starbucks, including a drive-thru lane and an outdoor seating area, Jersey Mike's Subs and an AT&T store. According to the site, that Starbucks is set to open sometime in 2023 as well.

Starbucks has over 250 locations in New Jersey.
