PHOTOS: New Jersey Gets Hit With Damaging Tornadoes And Flash Flooding
Governor Phil Murphy has declared a state of emergency in response to Tropical Storm Ida. New Jersey experienced damaging tornadoes and flash flooding across the state Wednesday night (September 1).
“We will use every resource at our disposal to ensure the safety of New Jerseyans,” Murphy shared to Facebook.
Residents are urged to stay home and off the roads at this time.
