Dr. Oz Saves Man Who Collapsed At New Jersey Airport
A man who collapsed at Newark Liberty International Airport Monday night (March 1) was resuscitated by none other than Dr. Oz himself.
The television host and practicing heart surgeon was walking through the New Jersey airport with his family when his daughter saw a 60-year-old man fall to the ground near the baggage claim.
The New Jersey resident was foaming at the mouth and had turned blue. Dr. Oz and several police officers rushed to help the man, who was not breathing and didn’t have a pulse.
Dr. Oz revealed to Good Morning America that the man had only about a 20 percent chance of surviving, calling it “a true miracle with the odds heavily against him.” He has even stayed in touch with the man’s wife and was told “he’s doing very well.”
