‘Sopranos’ Prequel Film ‘The Many Saints Of Newark” Gets New Release Date
Exploring The Life Of A Modern-Day Mob Boss, The Exclusive New Series The Sopranos Combines Drama And Comic Irony, Debuting Hour-Long Episodes Sundays (9:00-10:00 P.M. Et) On Hbo. Pictured: Tony Sirico, Steve Van Zandt, James Gandolfini, Michael Imperioli And Vincent Pastore.
The much-anticipated Sopranos prequel, The Many Saints of Newark finally has a new opening date.
After several postponements due to COVID-19 concerns, the film will now be released in theaters and on HBO Max on September 24, 2021.
If you recall, young Tony Soprano will be played by Michael Gandolfini, the real-life son of James Gandolfini.
“Rival gangsters, the Newark riots, and a ton of gabagool will be delivered directly to theaters and @hbomax. The wait will be worth it. Love y’all,” Gandolfini shared to Instagram.
This film is described as the origin story of how the tale of The Sopranos began.
