Lyft Expands Jobs Access Program In New Jersey
Lyft has expanded its Jobs Access Program in New Jersey.
The rideshare company designed the program to provide individuals access to the transportation they need to get to a job opportunity.
“With unemployment claims in August reaching nearly tens of millions across North America, it is all hands on deck to help people everywhere get access to work so that they continue to take care of their families and pay their bills,” said Suzanne McCormick, U.S. President, United Way. “We are grateful for strong partnerships like that with Lyft’s Job Access Program, so that United Way and 211 can help get more people back to work.”
Lyft is working with local organizations such as Goodwill and United Way to help those seeking support that sets them up for success.
