‘Tiger King’ Miniseries Featuring Kate McKinnon Will Be On Three Different Networks
As we reported, Kate McKinnon is set to star as Carole Baskin in a Tiger King miniseries. And according to E! News, the show will have three homes: NBC, Peacock, and USA.
They also give more information about the straight-to-series production, saying, “The series follows Carole Baskin, a big cat enthusiast, who learns that when fellow exotic animal lover Joe ‘Exotic’ Schreibvogel is breeding and using his big cats for profit, she sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry.”
“But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous.”
They add that Kate McKinnon will also serve as executive producer for the series. Etan Frankel, who is known for Shameless and Sorry For Your Loss, will be the writer.
Joe Exotic has yet to be cast for the project.
