Sometimes, you just want to give someone a hug.
The social media platform announced the newest addition while showing support to their users during this unprecedented time.
Facebook is making that possible by introducing a new hug emoji.
The happy face was created with arms that are wrapped around a heart. Facebook Messenger will also have a purple heart as part of the new "care reactions."
Look for both of them to roll out on Messenger this weekend and on the Facebook app next week.
