Finally, no one can criticize you for staying inside and playing video games all day. In fact, the World Health Organization is recommending it.
Last week, WHO launched the 'Play Apart Together' campaign, suggesting video games as a safe social activity that can connect people socially while helping flatten the curve.
The #PlayApartTogether initiative encourages users to follow the WHO’s health guidelines—including physical distancing, hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette and other powerful preventive actions people can take to fight COVID-19.
Partners joining the program include Amazon Appstore, Pocket Gems, Twitch, YouTube Gaming, among many others. You can follow #PlayApartTogether on social media for ongoing updates and details.
