CBS Suspends ‘The Amazing Race’ Over Coronavirus
With the fears of coronavirus spreading throughout the world, CBS has decided to halt ‘The Amazing Race.’
“All contestants and production staff are in the process of returning home,” CBS said in a statement. “At this time, no racers or anyone on the production team traveling with them have contracted the virus.”
At the time of the suspension, three episodes for the new season had been taped over two countries. The show has been running for 33 seasons and there’s no word on when the show will resume taping.
